Please join YLD in thanking the HABU Lodge and all its participants for raising more than $10,000 at the 2009 IAFC International HazMat Response Teams Conference! This fundraising event for YLD's Chief John M. Eversole Scholarship Endowment featured an auction with our celebrity auctioneer Robert Royall, Chief of Operations for the Harris County (Texas) Fire Marshal's Office, and a return-by-popular demand comedy act by Mickey Cucchiella, nationally known comedian with 98 Rock. An extra special thanks goes to Ahura Scientific, Inc., for their generous sponsorship, to the IAFC in promoting the event, to Richard Brooks, Director of the Cecil County (Maryland) Department of Emergency Services, for serving as our Master of Ceremonies, and to Chris and Donna Hawley for serving as co-chairs of this very successful fundraising effort!
