Bull Roast and Comedy Night
On May 31, 2008 we hosted our first Bull Roast and Comedy Night, benefiting the Chief John M. Eversole Endowment for Hazardous Materials Responders Scholarship.
The evening included --- Dinner! Comedy! Silent Auction! Door prizes!
Over 200 attendees enjoyed a traditional Maryland-style bull roast dinner of pit beef, ham, turkey, cream of crab soup, sausages and peppers, beef BBQ, and other regional specialties.
The MC for the evening was Richard Brooks (with the Cecil County Emergency Management Agency) and our guest auctioneer was Bob Royall from Harris County Texas, who lead a most unique live and silent auction presenting sports memorabilia, and fire & emergency services oriented items from around the country. In addition we gave away a large number of door prizes many of which were emergency services oriented.
The evening's entertainment featured a comedy act starring Mickey Cucchiella, nationally known comedian with 98 Rock Morning DJ.
