Hazmat Safety Train Dedicated to Chief John M. Eversole
On May 5, 2008 Chicago-area emergency responders joined representatives from CSX Transportation, Dow Chemical, National TRANSCAER, Union Pacific and others in a dedication ceremony to honor the late John Eversole, former Chief of Special Operations for the Chicago Fire Department, and to present a donation of $15,500 to the Yvorra Leadership Development Foundation's Chief Eversole Endowment for Hazmat Emergency Responders.
